(Windows XP). 3.02 After re-installing XP, I was able to find an EasyFilmFolder.exe in the "Folder Program" list on the desktop. But clicking on the file would not do anything. (At that time, I did not know that it should be run as an administrator) 3.03 After installing the previous version, I was able to run the program without administrator privileges. I then got a photo of the film. But it was a really dark photo and the orange mask was in the middle of the photo. I could not see the edges. I then tried to load in photos from a folder on my desktop. (The photos are in the folder. They show up in windows explorer, but they do not appear in the program when I right click and open them.) If the photo is a jpg file then the one in the program is a copy and not an image from the file. But if I open it from windows explorer, the image from the file is the image in the program. That suggests that when you right click and open it in the program, it is not a copy, but an image created from the file. (I have a 12 mega pixel camera, so I want to scan all my pictures.) Any idea what might be going wrong? I tried it again and am running Windows 7. A: It is quite unusual to run a program under a different user account. You should run it as administrator. In the case of the easy Film Folder, since it is part of the Windows OS, it was already ran as administrator. Since it is a program that contains a driver, it can be run under the current user account but to interact with it, it will have to be run as an administrator. In Windows XP, right click on the easy Film Folder and choose Run as administrator. In Windows 7, choose the Run as Administrator option from the context menu. Q: Is there an easy way to not have a straight line on an image border? I've taken a picture of the deck of a sailboat. How would I make it so that the black background is not a straight line but more like the curve of the ship as it goes to the top? Thanks!
